Elvey has been active in the leadership of The Young President's Organization and the World President's Organization since 1973. He is an active supporter of various philanthropic organizations, Director and former Chairman of the Finance Committee of The Friends of Bezalel, Israel's National Academy of Arts &Design. An avid squash player, Elvey served as Chairman of the US Masters Squash Teams in 1997 at the Maccabiah Games in Israel. |

Elvey is an independent consultant, advising international clients on technical issues, as well as a Founding Partner and the CTO of Collaborative Capital. Since leaving Yale University with a Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering Degree, he has worked for Goldman Sachs and Find/SVP in New York, and Sigaba in San Francisco. He has consulted for Silicon Reef (now Reef) - a major web site and web software developer and Internet strategy firm, NIA - a medical database firm, Infotrieve - the leading Internet-based research vortal, and Silicon Summit - a leading FIX financial technology firm. I.T Department review and Strategic Plan development at Infotrieve followed code recovery and administration work at Silicon Summit. At Sigaba and Reef, he developed rich, scalable web site architectures. Working with Goldman, his responsibilities included the development and maintenance of technical architecture, accounting systems and systems that perform risk assessment. At Find/SVP he managed and led multidisciplinary teams of technologists and business managers. He developed integrated business systems architectures, including custom-developed accounting and billing process systems, enhanced Database, Network and Application performance and robustness. He has developed intuitive GUI designs and managed multinational, multilingual, distributed web site architectures. Elvey's 20 years of hands-on technical business experience is broad and deep. |
